Adventure Academy, for ages 7 to 14, is a week-long day camp filled with high-energy outdoor activities that help campers learn teamwork, leadership skills, self-confidence, and most importantly, have fun!
Base Camp A, for ages 7 to 10, includes climbing on our many adventure elements, hiking, swimming, archery, and Thursday night camping on our property.
Base Camp B, for ages 10 to 14, adds our three-level high ropes course.
Junior Frontier, for ages 12 to 14, also includes three nights of camping on our property and an off-site rappelling trip.
You can also add a Zip Zone canopy tour for Friday afternoon. All meals and snacks are provided. See the brochure for pricing and the daily schedule for each camp. Weekly sessions begin on June 5th and run through August 11th.

To register and reserve a space for your camper, click the link at the bottom of this page. The electronic registration process will allow you to register your camper and provide you with the required forms. A non-refundable deposit of $75/session is required to reserve a space for your camper. Paid deposits are counted as payments toward the full registration fee. You can make payments towards your registration balance at any time before May 26, 2017 by visiting https://campsself.active.com/
Requesting to be Placed with Friends
We have found that when too many campers already know each other in one group, it makes the experience of the campers who are new to the group less positive. Therefore, you can request to be placed with up to 2 other campers. All sets of campers must request one another in order for the placement to be accommodated. Please make these requests on the registration form. In all cases, we will make our best effort to accommodate this request, but cannot guarantee that a request will be accommodated.
Deposits are never refunded except when a program is cancelled by Camp Mary Orton. Registration fees minus the deposit can be refunded when cancellation occurs at least 21 days prior to the start of your child’s camp session. Participants assume risk and responsibility for changes in personal schedule or health.
To cancel a reservation, please contact 614.885.1023. You must speak with a representative of Adventure Academy to cancel. A voicemail message will not be considered proper notification of cancellation for refund purposes.
Because of the additional cost to process a change request, there will be a $15 fee assessed for changing your camper’s week once you have registered.
ZipZone Add On (Age 7-14 and at least 50 pounds)
Come soar with ZipZone! Located on the grounds of Camp Mary Orton, ZipZone provides fully guided tours through 5 treetop zip lines and 4 sky bridges to provide an exhilarating end to your camper’s week! Through Adventure Academy registration, the ZipZone Add-On allows campers to experience this canopy tour at a reduced rate. The tour takes place on Friday from 12:00-3:00 pm. If you select this option, you will pick up your child at 3 pm on Friday. Space is limited.
If the ZipZone tour is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a refund (no fee). Camp Mary Orton will automatically refund your ZipZone Add-On amount to your credit card on file. Refunds will be processed by Camp Mary Orton; please do not contact ZipZone directly.
If you choose to cancel your ZipZone tour prior to the Monday (1st day) of your child’s camp week, there will be a $15 fee assessed to cover the cost of processing the refund.
There will be NO refunds for cancellations after 4:00pm on the Friday prior to your child’s camp week.
