To register and reserve a space for your camper, click the link at the bottom of this page. The electronic registration process will allow you to register your camper and provide you with the required forms. A non-refundable deposit of $50/session is required to reserve a space for your camper. Paid deposits are counted as payments toward the full registration fee. You can make payments towards your registration balance at any time up to 10 days prior to the start of your session by visiting https://campsself.active.com/
Requesting to be Placed with Friends
Discovery Day Camp uses flexible, dynamic groups of varying sizes throughout the week depending on the activity, but at all times maintains a ratio of at least one counselor for every ten campers. When appropriate to the activity, children of a similar age will be grouped together. You may request one friend for your child to be placed with throughout the week when you complete your registration online. Both campers must request each other in the registration and must be of the same age as of the start of their camp session. We will do our best to accommodate placement requests but cannot guarantee a request due to the challenges of grouping and organizing activities. We cannot accommodate requests for more than two campers or campers of different ages to be placed together. There are multiple large group activities at camp each day so that friends who are not grouped together for a particular activity will still see each other throughout the day.
Deposits are never refunded except when a program is cancelled by Camp Mary Orton. Registration fees minus the deposit can be refunded when cancellation occurs at least 10 days prior to the start of your child’s camp session. Participants assume risk and responsibility for changes in personal schedule or health.
To cancel a reservation, please contact 614.885.1023. You must speak with a representative of Discovery Day Camp to cancel. A voicemail message will not be considered proper notification of cancellation for refund purposes.
Because of the additional cost to process a change request, there will be a $15 fee assessed for changing your camper’s week once you have registered.
