The Godman Guild offers a combined GED and Adult Basic and Literary Education (ABLE) class designed to help individuals reach their education goals, whether it's obtaining their GEDs or simply improving their basic skills. Students also receive family life and employment skills training to help them balance work and family as well as make their career goals reality.
Classes are offered at no cost to students and all learning supplies are provided. Childcare is also available for all students. Free transportation is provided for students who live in the Godman Guild service area.
Students have the option to enter one of two separate evening traditional classes or one daytime computer-based class. Please call 614-294-5476 ext. 132 for information on our next enrollment date.
Names for enrollment are taken on a first come, first served basis starting at 8:00 AM. The number of open spaces for enrollment varies. Persons under the age of 18 are eligible only if they have proof of being officially withdrawn from school and have an "age in school certificate" which can only be obtained if the person is working. All others need ID.
Looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity? The ABLE/GED program is looking for individuals interested in tutoring students in the GED program. Call 614-294-5476 and ask to speak with the Volunteer Coordinator.
