EPIC Program

Family Advocate Services

Offered to families and youth with the most need and least resources. Needs are based on the number of risk factors in the family as defined by an instrument. Families identify goals and advocates provide support and guidance to complete these goals. Major focus is to decrease isolation and increase coping skills.

Anger Management Group

Offered to students that have difficulty diffusing their anger. Groups concentrate on conflict management, appreciation of differences and dealing with anger and problem solving.

Social Skill Development Group

Focus is on developing social skills including; trust, appreciation of differences, decision making, self-discipline etc. Groups generally meet one time per week and are organized according to age and grade level. Transportation is provided from school to Godman Guild and then home.

Family and Parent Nights

Designed to help parents overcome isolation and provide opportunities for parents and children to interact in a positive environment.

Summer Youth Empowerment Program

Godman Guild’s Summer Youth Empowerment Program (SYEP) offers children in the Guild service area a well-balanced summer of positive social skill development and academic enrichment. SYEP consists of two day camp opportunities for children: P.R.I.D.E. and Summertime Safari. Both consist of four weeks of engaging structured learning and skill-building activities combined with hiking, swimming and an appreciation of the great outdoors!
